Genuine Green Moldavite (Czech Tektite)
Product Overview
Moldavite is a rare, forest-green natural glass formed approximately 14.7 million years ago by a massive meteorite impact in southern Germany. This impact ejected molten terrestrial and extraterrestrial material into the atmosphere, which solidified and fell back to Earth as a "strewn field" in the Czech Republic. Prized by collectors as the only gemstone-quality tektite, it is famous for its intense vibration and its distinctively etched, aerodynamic surface.
